Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha Brings Dropout Students Back to School in Meherpur

With support from BRAC’s Education Support Programme (ESP) and implemented by Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha, a vital initiative has been launched in five villages of Pirojpur Union, Meherpur Sadar Upazila, to reintegrate 150 school dropouts back into the education system.

Through five learning centers, these children were given the opportunity to complete their primary education, culminating in the Grade 5 final examination. Upon completion, all students were successfully enrolled into Grade 6 at formal schools.

✅ Re-enrollment of school dropout children into the education system
✅ Opportunity to complete primary-level education
✅ Facilitation of Grade 5 final exams and transition to Grade 6
✅ Special academic support to ensure quality education
