Mujibnagar Khabor December 02, 2019, On the occasion of NGO Foundation Day, a rally and discussion meeting were held in Meherpur on Monday, organized jointly by the Meherpur District Administration and the NGO Foundation.
The discussion session took place in the courtyard of the Meherpur District Administration, presided over by Mosharraf Hossain, President of the Meherpur District NGO Association. The chief guest at the event was Md. Toufiqul Rahman, Deputy Director of the Local Government Division.
Speakers at the session included:

- Moinul Ahmed, Executive Director, Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha
Prior to the discussion, a colorful rally was brought out, led by Md. Toufiqul Rahman. The procession started from the Shilpakala Academy premises, moved through the town’s main roads, and concluded at the District Administration premises.
The event highlighted the significant contributions of NGOs in community development and emphasized continued collaboration between non-governmental organizations and local authorities for sustainable progress.
