National Recognition: Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha’s Unique Contribution to Tree Plantation

Among the leading organizations working for environmental protection in the country, Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha stands out. With a mission to preserve the environment, combat climate change, and create a green Bangladesh, the organization has been running tree plantation programs for many years. In recognition of these noble efforts, the organization has received the Prime Minister’s National Tree Plantation Award three times at the national level.

🏆 Chronology of National Tree Plantation Awards

 

🔸 2003 – The Executive Director of the organization, Mr. Moin-ul-Alam, received the award directly from the Honorable Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia.

🔸 2012 – The award was presented by the then Secretary of the Ministry of Environment and Forest, Mr. Md. Shafiqur Rahman Patwari, to the Executive Director.

🔸 2014 – The Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina personally handed over this prestigious award to Mr. Moin-ul-Alam.

🌱 Subah’s Contribution to Environmental Protection

 

Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha’s tree plantation program for environmental protection is an ongoing and widely appreciated initiative, implemented in various parts of Meherpur District.

Key Objectives:
