Meherpur News, May 31, 2015, An exchange meeting was held on Sunday afternoon between the Director of the NGO Bureau and representatives of various NGOs in Meherpur. The event was organized by the Meherpur District Administration and took place at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner’s office.
Presided over by Deputy Commissioner Mahmud Hossain, the session featured Dr. Md. Helal Uddin, Director of the NGO Bureau, as the chief guest. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of NGO transparency, local collaboration, and the role of NGOs in sustainable development.
Other notable speakers included Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Majedur Rahman Khan, Meherpur Sadar UNO Moinul Hasan, Mosharraf Hossain, Executive Director of Palashipara Samaj Kalyan Samiti, Abu Zafar, Executive Director of Sandhani Sangstha, John P. Biswas, Coordinator of CDP, and Moinul Alam, Executive Director of Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha.
The meeting created a platform for dialogue on current challenges, development opportunities, and policy alignment between the NGO sector and local government authorities in Meherpur.
