Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha has launched an afforestation program along the Meherpur–Chuadanga Road, from Mashuribhaja to Baradi Bazar, aimed at protecting the environment and promoting sustainable green initiatives. The primary goal of this initiative was to restore ecological balance, enhance greenery, and reduce the negative impacts of climate change.

Key Activities of the Program:

✅ Tree Plantation:

As part of environmental awareness efforts, various species of saplings—shade-giving, fruit-bearing, and medicinal trees—were planted on both sides of the road.

✅ Awareness Campaign:

Local residents, students, and environmental activists participated in discussions highlighting the importance of afforestation, proper tree care, and the environmental benefits of green coverage.

✅ Community Engagement:

To ensure the sustainability of the program, responsibilities for tree maintenance were distributed among local communities, businesses, and educational institutions.
