A day-long income-generating training and rice distribution program was successfully organized for VWB (Vulnerable Women Benefit) beneficiaries at Gangni Union Parishad, Alamdanga Upazila. The event was held under the supervision of the Department of Women Affairs (Ministry of Women and Children Affairs) and implemented by Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha.
This initiative was aimed at enhancing the capacity of underprivileged women by providing them with practical training that can support sustainable income growth. Additionally, food assistance in the form of rice was distributed to ease the burden of their daily necessities.
