Meherpur News, May 29, 2022, A workshop on anti-drug initiatives and the formulation of policy recommendations was held on Sunday afternoon at the auditorium of Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha in Amjhupi, Meherpur Sadar Upazila.

The event was organized by Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha with the support of the Department of Narcotics Control, Meherpur District.

The session was presided over by Saidur Rahman, President of the Executive Committee of Subah. Biplob Kumar Kundu, Youth Development Officer of Meherpur Sadar Upazila, attended as the chief guest.

Speakers included:

• Inspector Abdul Mannan, Department of Narcotics Control, Meherpur
• Moinul Alam, Executive Director of Subah Samajik Unnayan Sangstha

The workshop emphasized strategic planning and community collaboration to combat drug abuse at the grassroots level, while also encouraging youth involvement in awareness and prevention programs.
